Puerto Rican Chefs Showcased at Saborea Caribbean BBQ
During the Saborea Caribbean BBQ, the Puerto Rico Culinary Team, composed of chefs Héctor 'Coqueto' González, Roberto Catala, junior chef Laleyshka O'Neill, and pastry chef Misael Berríos, took charge of the closing event, preparing a barbecue-roasted whole pig.
The team highlighted local ingredients, emphasizing traditional Puerto Rican flavors. Their participation in the Demo Kitchen also served as preparation for their upcoming international competition, where they would represent Puerto Rico from June 21 to 25 in Miami.
